Why rental companies need CRM
A customer returns a scooter with a cracked fender and says it was like that. Without checkout photos you cannot win: you either pay for the repair or argue. ProkatOS keeps condition photos in the rental card.
ProkatOS links customers, rentals, items, tariffs, payments, charges, maintenance, warehouse movements and staff actions. Instead of disconnected rows, the owner sees a business story that can be audited.
How it works
- At checkout, staff photograph the equipment with a phone or tablet right in the rental card.
- A photo can carry a caption: 'chip on the frame', 'odometer 1,240 km'.
- At return, they shoot again — the photos go into the After column next to Before.
- If there is damage, staff charge it within the same rental.
Light on bandwidth
Camera photos weigh 5–10 MB. ProkatOS shrinks them to 1600 pixels before upload — enough detail and fast even on mobile data. Photos are stored on the server with the rental card.
What ProkatOS covers
Start with clients, an item catalog, tariffs, rentals and payments. Then add finance, warehouse, reports, web portals, notifications, automated backups and custom development.
Roles keep work controlled: operators handle rentals, accountants review money, administrators manage settings and permissions.
Business result
Owners can see rented items, customers with debt, maintenance, popular tariffs, promo code usage and item profitability.
